What is Microblading, and why is it all the rage?

When it comes to eyebrows, each and every one of us has very specific parameters for how we like them to look. No one has quite the same, kind of like a fingerprint!

Exploring shapes, sizes, and fullness is something some of us have tried, and others just accept what their morning brows serve to them.

Once that perfect brow is finally discovered and created, every day after that is spent chasing the same design. Only the lucky ones can mimic the exact brow over and over, and not without upkeep, effort, time, and money.

When you dream of having great brows everyday, you desire to simplify your routine, you want to be care free, and your brow pencil has run dull, that's when Microblading swoops in. The ability to have these things and more is one treatment away.

What is Microblading exactly?

A semi-permanent brow treatment designed to create the most natural and realistic hair-like effect on the skin.

First, your brows are mapped on the face. This is where your perfect shape is created. There is a mathematic strategy used to ensure the brows are ideal for your facial structure. You have the ultimate say in your shape, of course.

Next, small stroke-like incisions are made on the brow to mimic hair strokes in all the right places. Ink is then placed in the area. During your healing process, the skin will heal and lock in the ink and it will become implanted.

After your healing process which is around 5-8 weeks, you'll come in again to make sure that no ink came out and everything looks good. We will touch up strokes as needed. That's it!

What is the lifespan of the brows?

I'm glad you asked. For the next 1-3 years you will have the brows you've been dreaming of! Somewhere in this time frame, your ink will start to fade. At this point, you have the option to come in and get your brows re-stroked to freshen up the look. This will start your 1-3 years over again.
